Aug 2 Rumor Has it.....

Rumor has it that the color OLIVE which was once looked down upon, is NOW ONE OF THE HOTTEST COLORS in this season. I have a new found love for IT.While growing up OLIVE was not really a popular color in my world. If you wore THIS GREEN people would often refer to it as, "dirty green, dark green, doo doo green (please forgive me), and army green". Let's be honest you wore Olive, you were teased (well, at least I was). OLIVE has given me so much life for the past couple of seasons. It all began with the army fatigue jackets, jeans, and tops and from there I believe fashion designers took this color to a whole other level. When you walk into a department store it's almost impossible not to run into OLIVE!!!! Wearing the color reminds me of healing & peace. The OLIVE color comes from the Olive tree. In biblical days, the Olive tree was used for many different reasons. The olives from the tree served as fuel for lamps, medicine for physical and spiritual healing, and also regarded as a symbol of honor, joy and favor.

When you wear this color, let it remind you of how great you are. Let it remind you of how if you are still here it is because you have PURPOSE. You were created to live in peace. You were created to bring healing to others by letting your light shine in the dark areas in others lives. OLIVE my new found color....don't be afraid to spice it up with whatever color you choose. Remember it is still Summer time.
